Strategic plan development, workshop design and facilitation, materials and outcomes report.
Description.
The strategic plan was developed to support the transition of Dungog Common Recreation Reserve Crown Land Manager Board to Aboriginal ownership under the Karuah Local Aboriginal Land Council (LALC). The plan set a clear direction for the future management of the reserve, balancing recreation use with cultural heritage and environmental stewardship during and beyond the transition period.
Our approach.
We worked closely with the Board through a series of facilitated workshops to shape the strategic plan. The focus was on clear, plain English discussions about priorities, opportunities and constraints.
A visioning workshop helped define the shared vision, values and success measures, with early agreement on what could change and what could not. The process also considered the roles of key stakeholders, including Dungog Shire Council and the NSW Government, to ensure the plan was practical and deliverable.
Clear materials and an outcomes report captured agreed strategies and actions to guide future decision-making.
