Services.
Behaviour change communication campaign, stakeholder engagement and consultation, focus groups, qualitive research and insight analysis.
Description.
Centennial engaged Mara to run a consultation program to develop a workplace safety campaign and staff-facing communications, logos and materials. The project focused on understanding safety attitudes, reporting behaviours and cultural drivers across an operational mining environment, with the aim of strengthening shared responsibility and day to day safety behaviours.
Our approach.
We engaged frontline staff and the Health and Safety Committee members to generate practical insight into safety behaviours, trust and how safety messages cut through in high-risk operational environments. These insights shaped clear safety statements and campaign concepts grounded in workforce language and lived experience.
The process was open and clear, with feedback and data directly used to shape practical safety messages, materials and campaign decisions.
The project built trust between leadership and workers, showing a genuine commitment to listening. It gave Centennial clear, evidence based direction to improve safety culture and communications.
