Our approach to community sentiment survey.
Malabar Resources engaged Mara to design and deliver a community sentiment survey for the Maxwell Underground Mine. The work formed part of Malabar’s approved Social Impact Management Plan and was a critical first step in understanding how the project is viewed by the local community.
The work established a clear baseline for awareness, sentiment and engagement. It supported compliance with approval requirements and created a foundation for ongoing monitoring and performance reporting as the project progresses.
The survey provided a clear, evidence-based snapshot of community views. It confirmed strong awareness and generally positive sentiment while identifying gaps in visibility and communication.
