East Maitland Integrated Transport plan

Workshop facilitation and stakeholder engagement

Client.

Transport for NSW (TfNSW)

Services.

Workshop facilitation and strategy development, stakeholder mapping, strategic communications and engagement framework.

Description.

The project used input from up to six key stakeholder organisations to inform the East Maitland Integrated Transport Plan framework and support Transport for NSW decision making. Workshop outcomes were advisory and documented through summary reports consolidated at project completion.

Engagement approach.

Two workshops were designed and facilitated to provide strategic context for the Plan, explore a shared vision for East Maitland, and address constraints and opportunities. Stakeholder mapping informed participation, bringing together decision-making representatives from key agencies including TfNSW, Maitland City Council, Hunter and Central Coast Development Corporation, NSW Health, Health Infrastructure, Hunter New England Local Health District and Regional NSW.

Insights and notes from the workshops were then consolidated into a report for Transport for NSW.
